Have been listening to the music from Tuva recently. Khoomei, singing out two notes at the same time, is really amazing. I couldn't believe that was actually one man singing.
However, it's still a bit too much when it comes with not just a few notes in the class or a song, but a CD. I had to learn to get used to it.
Then I realize how deeply I'm effected by the cultures I'm used to.
But luckily, at least my interest in different music is a bit more than mere curiosity. Somehow I do enjoy the music every now and then. :)

清早Kat的伯父帶我們出門，開車從小巷穿出，已經開始有婦女光著腳、頭頂容器出門。伯父說他平常也是差不多四點出門散步再回家吃早餐。（後來才聽Kat說伯父是個作息很神奇的人，十點到十一點睡，三點起，一天的睡眠大概就是這樣。老醫生的作息就是這麼樸實無華，所以可以退休後繼續做研究。）...
