we arrived taipei yesterday evening.
it was sooo weird to see the campaigns in traditional chinese and driver talk to dad in taiwanese. it's just too unreal to me.
i actually started to miss my life in beijing since i was in shanghai. or to be even more specific, after my families' arrival. it's like my life was then forced to come back to normal. a sparkling summer faded away on the subway train heading toward the airport, my summer of 2008. and yet i could do nothing to it, since life is like that, there are always responsibilities to take on, reality to face...
so here i am, taipei, school year.

清早Kat的伯父帶我們出門，開車從小巷穿出，已經開始有婦女光著腳、頭頂容器出門。伯父說他平常也是差不多四點出門散步再回家吃早餐。（後來才聽Kat說伯父是個作息很神奇的人，十點到十一點睡，三點起，一天的睡眠大概就是這樣。老醫生的作息就是這麼樸實無華，所以可以退休後繼續做研究。）...
