I went inside the Boeing in China's office today. And I was responsible for translation in the meeting!! I was really really nervous for it's very sudden and I didn't have time to prepare anything. While, as you know, Boeing is one of the most famous companies in the whole world. When I got inside the meeting room, I was awed. Around half of the participants were foreigners and the others were Chinese, but all of them were from high positions in big companies like Simens, Motorola, Boeing and so on, with very fluent English. The whole meeting went on in English talking about the newly enacted Labor Contract Law, quite interesting.
Also, I met an English lawyer who now works in Beijing as a legal consultant. Very nice experience. And I should say it was incredible. Almost everyone in the meeting room was at least twice of my age!
I guess this could be one of the most exciting afternoon in the whole internship. =P
